Getting started
This section describes the general investor registration process on the QI Tech platform. Registration is the mandatory first step before any investor can take part in an offering, subscribe to quotas or move funds. At the end of the flow, QI Tech runs a registration analysis that validates the investor's data, documents and classification against regulatory requirements.
How the registration is structured
Investor registration is divided into three flows, organized according to the channel through which the investor will be onboarded. Each flow is described in detail in its respective subsection.

Only the class's manager or administrator can perform this registration.
Concepts common to all flows
Despite the particularities of each type, all flows share a set of concepts and resources:
- Investor / Investor Analysis — each investor has a unique identifier (
investor_key) and, for each registration cycle, a new registration analysis (investor_analysis_key). It is the analysis that receives the data, documents and the final validation result. - Feedbacks — during the analysis, QI Tech may request a clarification or additional information through a feedback, which is available in the registration analysis itself. The feedback is answered with a message: the analysis does not change status, does not return to data entry and does not need to be resubmitted. See Registration analysis lifecycle.
- Registration steps — the registration flows follow these steps linearly:
- Creation of the investor (first registration) or of the analysis (update) - Client;
- Sending the registration data and required documents - Client;
- Sending the registration for analysis - Client;
- Approval or rejection of the registration, with any clarification requests made through feedbacks - QI Tech;
- Signing of documents - Client.
Once the client signs the documents sent after the analysis, the investor is able to interact with the rest of the system, such as generating adhesion terms, subscription notes and contribution bookings.
