Which asset to send

The asset type is defined by the document that backs the receivable: a credit note, an invoice, a CT-e or a contract. Find yours in the table and go to the creation page.

To replace assets already in the fund with others, there is no specific type: you use a substitution batch, with the new assets and the repurchased ones. See Asset Creation — Substitution.

The type comes from the assignment configuration

Each assignment configuration has a single asset_type, and its batches only accept assets of that type; an asset of another type is rejected with TRC000025. Check the type of yours in the configuration listing. If your operation assigns more than one type, you need one configuration for each. To create or change a configuration, contact the integration team.

Title or installment operation

The types fall into two groups, and the group decides what counts as one asset. Eligibility, payments and repurchase always happen per asset.

  • One due date per asset: duplicatas, CT-e and discounted contract. Each asset has one amount and one due date. An invoice with three due dates becomes three assets, each with its own external_id and installment_number.
  • Several installments in one asset: CCB, structured CCI and installment contract. The asset carries the list of installments, and all of them must be sent at insertion.

The backing documents do not depend on the type: the required documents come from your assignment configuration. The exception is the duplicata mercantil, whose document is generated by QI Tech from the invoice.

Discounted contract or installment contract?

Both assign contracts with installments. The difference is assigning one installment at a time or the whole contract, and that changes the price, repurchase, due-date extension and the portfolio report. The full comparison is in Discounted contract or installment contract.
