Introduction

This resource registers a signer group that will be responsible for signing the documents generated in the investor's registration analysis. Each group must be sent in a separate request — to register more than one group, call the endpoint multiple times.

Attention

Each signer sent in this resource will be validated against the legal representatives declared in Create Related Party. Therefore, every signer must also be previously registered as a related party with legal_representative: true (and, when applicable, direct_beneficiary: true). Signers who are not among the legal representatives of the registration analysis will have their registration rejected.

Fund class (fund_class) — step skipped

Fund classes do not send signer groups. Representation is done through the investor owners (administrator and manager), not through legal representatives — there are no signers to declare. Skip this step.

Input / Output

As input, send the definition of a single signer group.

As output, the representation of the created group is returned.

Information

• Only one group can be marked as is_default: true per analysis.
• minimum_required_signers must be less than or equal to the total number of signers in the list.
• At least one signer must have is_required_signer: true.
• After expiration_date, the group can no longer be used to sign documents.

Response

The created signer group is returned in the response body, including the external_signer_group_key key.
